Sandra Henich, 86, cherished best friend of the late Peter Henich, married 54 years; loving mother of Jill (Shlomo Bar-Sheshet) Smith, the late son in-law Michael Smith, Nadine Henich, and Marcy Lucchesi; cherished grandmother of Rachel (Patrick) Cunningham, Nathan Smith, Sami (Carly) Smith-Lapin; doting great-grandmother of Leah, Logan, Laila and Mila Jo, dear sister of Barry Powitz, Jackie (the late Phil) Burnstein and the late Anita (Manny) Henich; treasured daughter of the late Lillian and Max Powitz. In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to Avenues of Independence, www.avenuestoindependence.org. Private services were held at Shalom Memorial Park.
